Labor Day Brunch + Pasta Party
FESTA di PASTA @ LEON’S
Our Festa di Pasta - quite literally, pasta party! - is designed for ease-in-sharing and maximum fun. Enjoy a family style presentation of your choice of three pastas and a bottle of sommelier-selected red or white wine for $115. We also offer a Reserve Wine option for those guests looking to explore the depths of our cellar. We think a trio of pastas paired with the lush (and coveted!) Trebbiano Toscano from Monteraponi or I Custodi’s Aetnus bottling, an always elegant and alluring expression of Nerello Mascalese from the northern slope of Mount Etna, is truly a steal at $215.
LABOR DAY BRUNCH
We’ll be savoring these final days of summer with brunch Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day Monday. Poppy’s Tomato Toast is on the menu at both restaurants while we continue to enjoy the rest of this season’s savory-sweet treats. And we’ll continue the brunch burger special at Leon’s with our $5 Lucie Burger (house-ground blend of lamb and beef, homemade garlic-chili shatta, creamy tahina, shredded lettuce, griddled sesame seed bun) throughout the long weekend.
ENTERTAINING AT HOME
Friendly reminder that you can enjoy Anton’s and Leon’s at home on those quieter, cozy days and nights! Order pick up directly from our restaurants, or have food delivered right to your door via third partyelivery. And if you’re feeding a crowd, Leon’s is thrilled to offer larger-format options to go for parties of two, four, six guests or more – check out Festa di Pasta, Team Lunch, and our special Sunday Supper menu featuring a Big Green Salad showered in shaved cheese, Lasagne Verdi al Forno, and a slice of Grand-mere Lucie’s Tarte au Citron.
END-OF-SUMMER SNACK
ZUCCHINI & SCALLION PANCAKES (RECIPE)
These savory pancakes are a staple in our home throughout the summer and into early fall when the local zucchini are meaty and at their sweetest. Inspired by a classic Korean pancake, we love serving these with a soy dipping sauce alongside a barbecue feast (or on their own as a late afternoon beer snack). They’re also great for freezing and reheating (instructions in the recipe) to snack on later.
