Join us every Monday evening for a thoughtfully-paired, four-course dinner featuring some of our favorite winemakers. We're excited to spotlight the incredible food, drink, and culinary traditions of a different region every month with a continually changing four-course wine dinner for $95 per person (in addition to our a la carte menu). We’re spending December in west-central Italy exploring the signature dishes and wines of Lazio. Home to Rome, a place near and dear to us as Chef Nick's background is tightly bound to the Eternal City, where he lived and worked in pursuit of mastering his love for traditional Roman cuisine. Menu highlights include Punterelle alla Romana (chicory hearts classically dressed with anchovy), Bombolotti alla Gricia (showcasing that favorite of cured meats, Guanciale), and a traditional apple cake whose recipe comes straight from our friend Marina at Checchino in Rome’s Testaccio neighborhood. Our selection of wines celebrates indigenous Lazian varieties (one can’t enjoy guanciale without at least one glass of cesanese) and celebrated stories — Cistercian nuns making organic wine and a Roman prince dedicated to bringing French winemaking ideals to his homeland.
Our special Lazio Menu is available Mondays through December. Reservations are encouraged, and walk-in guests are welcome to enjoy the Regional Wine Dinner Menu in our Dining Room and Bar on Monday evenings.
